UPPSALA HOTEL APARTMENTS
Uppsala Hotel Apartments can proudly present itself as the new operator for a new Long and Short Stay Hotel in Uppsala with an excellent location, good communications, service and nature areas very close by.
The property`s building right enables a hotel of up to approximately 275 rooms / apartments with a total area of approximately 10,000 sqm. In the first stage, 150 rooms / apartments will be built. The hotel has been designed together with the hotel operator, which has created a unique opportunity for an attractive hotel that is tailored to the purpose.
The hotel is ready for occupancy in January 2022.
The hotel is being built on Palmbladsgatan 5 near central Uppsala, a couple of hundred meters north of Uppsala Business Park, and close proximity to communications. The hotel`s location and the design of the rooms are mainly aimed at people with connections to Uppsala University, SLU, Akademiska Sjukhuset and people who work for the technology, consulting and research companies with offices in the immediate area, as well as people with connections to the major development projects in Uppsala.
The concept will go hand in hand with the hotel group`s previous focus, ie combined Long and Short Stay, where guests stay in the apartments from one night to longer periods. The hotel will include amenities such as a lounge, gym and laundry. Guests will be offered service and assistance throughout their stay.
With four floors, the hotel building rises above the surrounding buildings and makes itself visible in the area. There is a beautiful and well-planned garden that can be used by the guests. Around the building, good parking opportunities will also be offered for both cars and bicycles.
Uppsala is Sweden`s fourth largest city and one of the fastest growing cities. To meet the growth, it is estimated that 70 - 90,000 new homes will be required by the year 2050. Uppsala`s strong university and business climate have resulted in future projects and ongoing planning work for thousands of new jobs. Demand for short- and long-term accommodation in connection with the construction of future hotels is considered high. The strategic location with proximity to Stockholm will be further strengthened through the infrastructure investment Ulltunalänken, which halves the travel time to the capital.
“We are extremely happy to have this opportunity to establish ourselves in Uppsala. We have been looking at Uppsala for several years and soon we will open the gates to a new fresh Longstay accommodation with the latest technology and modernly furnished rooms. ” - Stefan Pedersen, development manager for the group.
