Stage two of Scandinavian XPO kicks off with a new long stay hotel
Stockholm Hotel Apartments opens long-stay hotel of 2000 sqm in the new meeting and event arena Scandinavian XPO. The new long-stay hotel is planned throughout with recycling in focus to minimize the carbon footprint on the environment while ensuring that check-in and check-out are fully accessible through digital forms. Stockholm Hotel Apartments welcomes guests for overnight stays from April 2022.
Stockholm Hotel Apartment is now preparing the opening of its fourth long-stay hotel located in stage two of Scandinavian XPO. With 20 minutes to Stockholm and Uppsala and five minutes to Stockholm Arlanda Airport, the location is optimal for, for example, business travelers, event companies, education and for those who commute to and from the area and who need longstay.
- Given the expansion that is taking place in the Arlanda area, an establishment in Explore Arlandastad is strategically important to us. We will be able to meet the demand both from those who commute to and from the area permanently but also for those who, for example, build up fairs and events or work with one of the many different construction projects that are going on in the area. We will offer our guests a flexible and alternative form of accommodation, says Stefan Pedersen, Senior Partner Stockholm Hotel Apartments.
Stockholm Hotel Apartments will offer 68 efficient rooms spread over two floors with a welcoming lobby. All rooms have a private bathroom and kitchenette with the possibility to prepare their own food as well as access to a shared laundry room. In the immediate vicinity you can also take advantage of existing services such as exercise, health and food.
- We have for several years noticed an increased demand for longstay in the area and with the meeting and event arena Scandinavian XPO, the demand is higher than ever. Stockholm Hotel Apartments will be a very welcome complement to the range available here today. It is fantastic when good ideas like this really get a place, says Erik Nyberg, Project Manager at Arlandastad Group, who is the owner of Scandinavian XPO.
When existing premises are adapted, you make sure to reuse everything that is possible to reuse at the same time as you decorate with recycled furniture. The parts of the demolition process that remain will also be reused for other premises in other parts of Scandinavian XPO`s stage 2.
Stockholm Hotel Apartments has expanded in recent years and offers an attractive and alternative form of accommodation for temporary long-term housing. The company is already established in Stockholm and Halmstad and will open in Uppsala this year.
